2) What are some of the new features of the Value Line Daily Options Survey?
We have made this product much easier for the typical investor to use. Now you can get our evaluations and rankings on all of the options that we cover on a stock simply by entering the stock ticker code. You can also use our online Options Screener to find options that exactly suit your needs. Moreover, we have expanded our coverage to more than 130,000 regular options on the 2,000 plus optioned stocks that are ranked by Value Line. Last, we have added ranks on married puts, geared towards investors who want to hold top ranked Value Line Stocks and, at the same time, to protect their investments.
3) Do you cover longer-term options (LEAPS) and Options on Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)?
We cover more than 37,000 longer-term options (LEAPS) on the more than 1,000 stocks that have these options. We also cover more than 10,000 options on Exchange Traded Funds that are ranked by Value Line.
4) What kind of support will I get online?
You will have access to our Interactive Options Study Guide, which walks you through all the features of our new product. You also will have access to our Interactive Options Strategy Guide, which offers you in-depth knowledge on how to invest with options. Available, too, is our Options Reports Archives, which gives subscribers access to prior issues of the Weekly Option Strategist.
5) Can I use the Value Line Daily Options Survey to reduce the risk of my investments as well as to increase returns?
Our track record strongly indicates that a combined portfolio of bullish and bearish option positions can produce above average returns with less risk than many equity mutual funds.
6) When are your ranks updated?
We update our options ranks twice daily, at mid-day and after the market's close (at about 6:00 p.m.). The new common stock ranks are updated every Monday. You can access option ranks reflecting these new common ranks at 12:30 p.m. on Mondays.
7) Do you need a spreadsheet program to use the Value Line Daily Options Survey?
To use all the features of our product it helps to have a spreadsheet program. We recommend that you use Microsoft Excel 2002 or higher.
8) Can I track my options online?
If you enter the full options code in our online portfolio, you will get our latest ranks and evaluations, plus the latest closing prices. You can downloads these records and read them into a portfolio tracking spreadsheet that we provide.
9) What Internet browsers work best with your site?
You can use either Internet Explorer version 6.0 (or higher) or Mozilla Firefox 2. In general, we recommend that you use the latest version of either of these two products.
10) What are PDF files and do I need special software to view them?
Our Weekly Option Strategist reports are PDF files (Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format). You will need the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in installed in your browser to read and print documents. Click here to get the latest copy of Acrobat Reader.
